What is a HueForge?
A HueForge is a piece of artwork created by carefully layering different colours of filament to build up an image. Rather than simply printing a photograph onto a flat surface, the colours, shading and fine details are created by the physical layers of the print itself.
The result sits somewhere between a picture and a piece of 3D-printed art, with subtle depth and texture that changes as the light catches it.
Printed in colour. Built in layers. Definitely more than a photo in a frame.
A HueForge really needs to be seen in person to appreciate what makes it special. Photographs can show the artwork, but they don't quite capture the depth, texture and feel of the finished print.
