Our Story
Bubble & Poppet is a passion project created by the two of us, Andy and Julie.
We’re a couple in our 50s, we both still work regular part-time jobs, and somewhere along the way our love of making things, experimenting with ideas and generally saying “I wonder if we could make that…” turned into Bubble & Poppet.
For us, the best part isn’t simply making something and putting it on a table. It’s meeting people, having a chat and watching someone discover something that makes them grin. We love those excited “Look at this!” moments, especially when something we’ve made finds exactly the person it was meant for.
We’re constantly experimenting, learning and dreaming up new things. Some are our own designs, others come from talented designers whose work we license, but everything we sell is chosen, printed and prepared by us because we think somebody out there is going to love it.
Bubble & Poppet is still growing, and we’re having enormous fun discovering where it takes us. 💜
Why Bubble & Poppet?
The name is simply us. 💜Bubble and Poppet are affectionate nicknames we’ve used for each other for years, long before there was ever a business.
So when we started creating things together, Bubble & Poppet just felt right. It’s personal, a little playful, and a reminder that everything we’re building started with the two of us.
